Jason started his insurance career in 2012 at Brotherhood Mutual with most of his service being in Underwriting-Large Accounts. With a desire to take a more front-lines role in the insurance industry, Jason served as a Loss Control Consultant with Cincinnati Insurance from 2019 to 2023, and as a Field Marketing Representative for a Pennsylvania-based carrier, Goodville Mutual, from 2023 until joining the DeHayes team August of 2025, getting back into what he enjoys the most in the industry, working with businesses and organizations to enhance their safety and loss control programs.

Prior to his insurance career, Jason had the opportunity to gain organizational experience spanning multiple industries. Over the past 28 years, those include production agriculture, commercial landscape construction, public safety/firefighting, non-profit operations, insurance risk management and finally, loss control. With this experience, Jason can offer an objective and comprehensive perspective on managing risk while keeping organizational and business efficiencies in mind.

Outside of work, Jason finds himself golfing, fishing, hunting, or hiking. His wife Tonya, of almost 30 years, has requested that he carefully reconsider adding any additional hobbies moving forward. Jason has 2 adult children with his oldest Taylor in Fort Wayne and AJ in Indianapolis.
