Jim graduated from Indiana University with a BS and MS in Health and Safety Management. While at IU, Jim taught OSHA standards and safety management techniques to U.S Navy personnel and IU students for Indiana University’s School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. In 1983 Jim was accepted to the United States Navy’s Safety Management Internship Program. From 1987 to present day, Jim has been an Insurance Risk Control Consultant. Jim joined the DeHayes team in 2020 as the Director of Risk Control Services.
Out of the office, Jim loves bicycling. From his love of his alma mater and bicycling, he is a safety official at the Indiana University Little 500 Bike Race. Jim also enjoys playing drums in his free time.
