John joined The DeHayes Group team in 2014 with almost 30 years of Employee Benefit and Life Insurance planning experience. He works with employers of all sizes to create & implement cost effective benefit strategies to attract and retain the best employees. John has extensive expertise advising employers in the areas of benefit strategy, benefit & claim utilization analysis, carrier & funding analysis, managed care network analysis, compliance and employee benefit communications. John also assists his clients in all areas of life insurance planning
including Buy-Sell, Key Person, Loan Indemnification, Estate Conservation and Survivor Income.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wabash College where he was a two-time Captain and MVP of the golf team. He is a proud alumnus of Bishop Dwenger High school.
John and his wife Carol have five children and are lifelong residents of Fort Wayne, Indiana. John & Carol spend most their free time with their kids and can usually be found cheering them on at cross country events and golf tournaments. John’s hobbies include golf, early morning runs and reading.
