Ty received his Property & Casualty License in 2012. He got his start in the insurance industry in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative at a local insurance agency. Ty then moved into Underwriting at K&K where he continued his growth of insurance knowledge by experience and obtaining his CISR, CPIA and Life & Health License. He joined The DeHayes Group in 2022 as a Marketing Manager. His area of focus is marketing strategy for commercial lines. In this role, he will monitor market trends, create relationship with carriers, and collaborate with our sales/support to find best market placement for our prospects and customers.

Out of the office Ty is an avid golfer. He enjoys landscaping, cooking, traveling, and cruising the local bicycle trails with his girlfriend Bethany. Ty also has a passion for yoga. He has his 200-Hour RYT, which he uses to instruct downtown Fort Wayne at ‘Discover Yoga’.
