Chris started his insurance career as an underwriter at Auto Owners in 2006. He transitioned into the Territory Manager role when he moved to Motorists Mutual in 2008. Chis join The DeHayes Group in 2011 as an agent. His focus includes: Manufacturing, Cyber Insurance, Warehousing, Gasoline stations, Fine Dining Restaurants, Trucking exposures, Loss sensitive workers compensation, and Large property exposures.

Chris is a past board member of Science Central and Northeast Indiana Innovation Center.  He also served as the Chairman of the Board of the Directors for Concordia Lutheran Church and School for 9 years. Chris was the President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana “Big I” in 2023 and now serves on the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I”) as National Director for Indiana.

Chris enjoys spending time with family, Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Cars, hunting, SCUBA diving, travel, Hi-Fidelity music, and Tri-Athlons.
